Roberts Ball 2005 - Part 1

It has begun......The whole end-of-year barrage of Balls and Annual Dinners...

And to start it all of was Roberts Ball 2005.....

Note: For the less informed, Roberts Hall is the hall at which I stay....some of you may know them better as hostels or colleges....here we call them Halls....

in any case....

Roberts Ball 2005

As usual, I refused to wear the standard suit and tie combo.....but in this case the problem was probably compounded by the fact that well.....I don't have a suit....

so I went indian....it wasn't the grandest of kurtas but....a simple white on black.....and a scarf works miracles...and wolla.....it did the trick....

And well to start things off....its seems like no ball/dinner/funtion seems complete without my customary picture with the talismanic tasmanian.....



Yep...there's Eliza......with darling Ruth.......

such a fascinating name...Ruth Cameron Jeffs...so........old.....

Aaah and she appears again....here I have the honour of my 2 favourite tasmanians....


Eliza and Bron....who were delighted to, for once, be able to see the top of my head while we posed for a photo....

Bron though couldnt get enough of it.....

hence her repeated attempts at altitudilar superiority.....
