Career and Cocktails Night 2006

In a flashback to one of my first few posts last year......I bring to you, cyberspace deja vu....

Tis Career and Cocktails Night 2006.....essentially, a cocktail party where we have speakers from different medical specialities talk to us about their chosen career paths and the different options available to us...

Sounds good on paper...and i guess the talks were actually pretty interesting but i have to concede i guess that the night was essentially an excuse for everytime to rip off the regular uni rags and actually dress up....

SO here we go....


The Meddies@Kanooka arrive......as you can see in the far corner...we're already turning heads....

or so we'd like to believe....



The rose has been replaced by a startled fruit loop.....


Can't quite convince myself that the replacement was much of an improvement....



Us again with the omnipresent Shasti and the barely-present Claire....


WHy Claire and Shasti have their attractions drawn to opposing magnetic poles is beyond me.....
However I must concede that at least Claire has succeeded in managing to look sweet while dear Shasti on the other hand......hmm....
